Stroud Baptist Church, NSW
We are a small church in Stroud, an hour north of Newcastle. A young lady recently asked me about baptism, and I wanted to find some good resources and materials to use.
Crossover emailed me about national baptism week and the materials available. We used the “Next Steps” video series and concluded with the “Exploring Baptism” material. As a pastor for many years, I found the “Exploring Baptism” material to be the best I have seen, especially when combined with the “Next Steps” series.
As a result, I organized studies for a group of eight young people and a few adults. I had the privilege of baptizing seven young people and will soon baptize one of the adults who participated. We truly thank God for his mercy and grace and the privilege of journeying alongside people in their pathways of faith.
Westmead Baptist Church, NSW
Westmead Baptist Church celebrated its fourth year anniversary on the 6th of October 2024 and it was a celebration marked not only by joy but also by profound spiritual rebirth.
Four of our members were baptized at Grannie’s pool at Blacksmith NSW.
The baptism at Grannie’s beach was more than just a celebration of our church’s anniversary. It was a tangible reminder of the enduring power of faith and the transformative nature of God’s grace.

Perth Baptist Church, WA
Perth Baptist Church had the joy of baptizing 5 young adults on Oct 20th as part of the morning service. After the service, another man said he would like to talk about getting baptized and another gentleman visiting the church wants to know more about Jesus. God is good!
Chinese and Australian Baptist Church West Ryde, NSW
Praise God for the 7 young people in English Congregation who got baptised during the Baptist’s National Baptist Week at a special afternoon service where testimonies were shared by all, lots of family, friends and church congregants came to support them (over 150 in total!), and a wonderful time of fellowship, worship, learning about God’s great love for us through the Lord Jesus; as well as a community dinner. Praise God for what He has been doing in the lives of these young people and what He will continue to do through them and this church for His glory.
Dickson Baptist Church, ACT
In late August we celebrated two baptisms. Amelia and Mitch both shared wonderful testimonies of God’s grace in their life, publicly committed to follow Jesus, and we celebrated their faith by baptising them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit
Springpark Baptist, SA
I was on leave, but our youth pastor Elijah spoke on baptism and three people responded and are now preparing for baptism (2 who have just completed Alpha with Springpark, and one who was invited along to church last month). We’ll keep you posted!
